  Overall Benefits:
The project is aimed at creating a generic awareness of tourism as a catalytic economic activity that can help improve the quality of life and the environment.


Tourism Product Development:
Ghana’s potential tourism sites and events will be developed to acceptable international standards, to help attract the interest of main stream international tour operators to significantly increase visitor arrivals and receipts.


Tourism Promotion:
The domestic and international promotional programmes outlined will generate interest in Ghana’s leisure tourism product, increase international arrivals for the direct benefit of tourism trade partners such as airlines and hotels and indirectly for all other related businesses, especially media relations.


Tourism Investments:
The international promotions will create awareness of the country’s potential and help expand existing investments and also bring in new investments for tourism infrastructure and superstructure by both the private and public sectors.


Employment Generation:
Tourism is known to be the largest employer in the world with one of the highest economic multiplier effects, the project could therefore contribute substantially to employment opportunities and career development for both skilled and unskilled labour across all sectors of the economy.
