  SEEK COLLABORATION WITH FOREIGN MISSIONS, FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS, GHANAIAN ASSOCIATIONS ABROAD, TRAVEL AND TOURISM TRADE PARTNERS AND THE LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL MEDIA TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE THE “GOLDEN FACE OF GHANA” PROJECT ENSURING THAT THE TOURIST EXPERIENCE IS ENHANCED AND VISITOR LENGTH OF STAY AND EXPENDITURE IS INCREASED BY 30% FOR WEALTH CREATION IN HOST COMMUNITIES.  
     
     
     
 

Activities Time Frame and Cost

  • Seek technical and financial assistance from cultural offices of foreign missions especially those that have significant historic heritage ties, sites and relics in areas selected, to identify, research and restore them to promote heritage tourism as cultural assets for the present and future generation. (4 relics @ $150,000 each = $600,000)

  • Identify and work with local and international media partners (20 Radio & 6 TV Stations, 10 Websites, 5 Travel and Cultural magazines that can give exposure to Ghana as a new and exciting destination. (Matching funds for media partners @ $800,000)

  • Work in collaboration with Ghanaian and Foreign Missions, financial institutions, travel and tourism trade partners, local and international media to launch, promote and operate the “Travel Ghana Raffle - A Golden Experience” (Production, promotions and PR Budget $250,000)

  • Total Cost: $1,650,000
