IDENTIFY AND ACT IN CONCERT WITH THE MOT/MCC & OTHER MDAS (GTB, GWD, GMMB, NCC), UNIVERSITIES, ETC OVER FOUR MONTHS, IN THE AREA OF TRAINING, PRODUCT AND MARKET RESEARCH, COST ASSESSMENT OF TECHNICAL & INFRASTRUCTURAL SUPPORT FOR A TWENTY-MONTH TOURISM DEVELOPMENT SCHEME.
Activities, Time Frame & Costs
Employ consultant(s) to develop project frame work, research and prepare training, product development and marketing schemes.
(One month per site @ $5,000 – total for 3 sites/events $15,000)
Review schemes and implement recommendations for site and event development.
(16 months @ $100,000 per product – total for 3 sites/events $300,000)
Conduct FAM tours for 100 local and 5 foreign tour operators and international media representatives to test and promote products and in the case of events set up mock performances and discuss the roles of GATTA members, tour operators and media in the promotion and maintenance of products.
(3 month @ $50,000)
Identify community stakeholders and train them to conduct quarterly visitor impression surveys for a year’s periodic assessment of visitor experiences in communities for the improvement and product quality assurance.
(1 month @ $5,000)
